Preparing to Leave

Jordan is approximately 6,600 miles from Shawnee, Ks. But despite the distance, the climate is very similar. They too are moving into winter time. Even though Jordan is primarily desert, it can get very cold in the winter time. It even snows once in a while. It is kind of funny to think that Jesus might have thrown snow balls at his disciples.



For me the trip to Jordan will begin on Wednesday at 6:50pm. It will take almost about 29 hours to arrive. I have included a picture of a map so that you can see what the country looks like. Talk to you in a couple of days.
